The South Point residential project in the southwest sector of the City of Airdrie is a 28.47 hectare subdivision wholly owned and managed by Vesta Properties Ltd. This community has 587 homes with both single family and multi-family units and municipal reserve land that will be developed during the various phases.
Watt Consulting Group has provided a broad scope of Engineering, Transportation and Geomatic services for this project since its initiation. These services have included details in the planning stage such as revisions to the Neighbourhood Structure Plan, Land Use Re-Designation, Noise Studies, Transportation Planning and Engineering Design. We have also conducted practical work on site such as full topographical and boundary surveys, Field Engineering and Construction Survey, Deep Service Installation as well as roadways, concrete construction and paving. We have also assisted Vesta in preparing cost estimates and provided technical support in their dealing with the City of Airdrie including preparing the subdivision applications, legal and right of way plans for the development and Development Permit submissions for the multi-family sites.
