Andy Kading
Andy Kading, P.Eng., P.E., is a Senior Transportation Engineer with significant experience in signal timing, traffic modeling and bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure design. Prior to joining WATT’s Transportation team, Andy was the Traffic Operations Engineer at the City of Eugene, one of the top-rated bicycling cities in the US. In this role, Andy was responsible for the operations of hundreds of traffic signals and supervised the signals and street lighting department and administered a US$2.5million annual budget.
Andy’s experience in Transportation Engineering also includes stakeholder engagement, contract development, long-range planning, communications, GIS data management, and QA/QC. In his role at WATT, Andy manages a range of transportation engineering projects including network and intersection analysis, transportation/traffic impact assessments, active transportation design, signal timing, and multi-modal road safety.
