Steve Martin
Steve is a skilled transportation professional with four years of experience in microsimulation, signal timing, transportation impact assessments, and active transportation planning and design. Steve recently completed his Master’s in Applied Science at UBC, building on a strong academic foundation in engineering and applied research. Steve has contributed to a variety of impactful projects across Western Canada, including the Salt Spring Island Ganges Crosswalk Analysis and Design, the City of Langford’s Active Transportation and Master Plans, and the Whistler Creek West Transportation Assessment. His work also includes numerous signal timing design projects throughout the region.
Passionate about the essential role transportation plays in daily life, Steve finds it deeply rewarding to create systems that help people travel safely and efficiently. At WATT, he values the collaborative environment and takes pride in developing practical, community-focused solutions.
In his spare time, you can find Steve hitting the gym, testing his knowledge at trivia nights, playing board games, and taking a cold dip.
