Kristen Machina, P.Eng., is a Senior Transportation Engineer, and co-lead of WATT’s Vancouver Island practice. From small towns to urban cores, Kristen has worked on projects across Canada. She understands the need for contextually appropriate solutions that reflect the needs of the surrounding community while also incorporating current best practices.
Kristen’s practice focuses on transportation impact assessments, traffic management during construction, functional roadway and intersection design, active transportation design, and development site planning. Her expertise lies in residential, mixed-use commercial, and industrial development planning, including the design of parking facilities, loading facilities, pick-up / drop-off facilities, and multi-modal site circulation.
