Joel Rombough

Geotechnical Lead

Joel Rombough, P.Eng., is a senior Geotechnical Engineer in Alberta. During his career, he has worked in both the land development and industrial sectors. Experience includes deep/shallow foundation design and testing, slope stability analysis, and construction monitoring. Joel’s experience with deep foundation design includes driven piles, screw piles and concrete piles. He has also provided consulting in pile testing, especially Static Testing and PDA Testing.

Beyond his expertise in design, Joel also has field-based project management experience in the industrial sector including construction quality assurance of oilsands tailings dams. Joel is presently Geotechnical Lead at WATT Consulting Group.
