Victor Ngo is a Transportation Planner with Watt Consulting Group, where he advises public and private sector clients on transportation issues.
Victor’s work focuses on promoting sustainable community development through evidence-based and data-driven policy, design, and engagement solutions. He has over four years of experience in sustainable community design and behaviour change, active transportation and shared mobility, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and geospatial and visualization applications for planning, design, and real estate. A skilled communicator and writer, Victor brings valuable expertise in GIS, cartography, survey design, statistical analysis, and graphic design. He has international experience working in Asia, and has travelled extensively across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Victor holds a MA in Planning and a BA in Geography from the University of British Columbia. His master’s research was recognized for outstanding accomplishment in the sustainable transportation field. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Institute of Transportation Engineers. In his community, Victor is passionate about promoting youth leadership in sustainability and civic affairs. He has formerly served on the UBC Development Permit Board and the Vancouver Foundation’s Youth Vital Signs Leadership Council. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors and cycling, and is an accomplished photographer.
