WATT Helps Keep Victoria on Track With Bikes on Pandora Street
Commuters in Victoria are riding on easy street with the opening of a new two-way bike track along Pandora Street. WATT’s work in designing and developing this new protected transportation route means that cyclists can now get themselves easily to and from the heart of city.
With the balmy weather in Victoria, the cycle track makes it possible to get around safely by bike the throughout the year while maintaining vehicle mobility and on-street parking. Team leader Nadine King worked with staff from multiple WATT offices and divisions to bring this vision to life. The Pandora Two-Way Cycle Track is the first of its kind in Victoria and is yet another step that WATT is taking to help facilitate more sustainable forms of travel and create equality with multi-modal transportation.
